This painting draws inspiration from varying cultural influences to celebrate feminine will and drive. The choice of warm colours is spontaneous. Against all odds and the burden we bear, we try to present ourselves the best we can. The flat colours and the intricate designs are my reflection of my origin while the juxtaposition of motifs from Tiv and Tamil cultures is a synthesis which results in a hybrid art.
